Image Chef is a fun website you can use to create customized images. Creating an account is free, and once you have an account you can save your images there until you are ready to use them. There are several templates to choose from, and you can even create your own template. The possibilities are endless…have fun!
We have several novel sets in the library. You can check ELM Library Novels for a full listing and for quantities. Some books have audio CDs available as well. If you see a picture of musical notes in the “Audio Available” column that means we have the audio CD. If you are interested in checking some out please stop by the library or email Ms. Gonzalez.
Storybirds are short, art inspired stories you can create to read, share or print. Storybirds are a great way to motivate students and inspire reluctant writers to create their own stories using pictures. The artwork featured on the site is beautiful. I used Storybirds to create some of my promotional library commercials. It’s free and easy to use. Visit the Storybird website to sign up!
The district provides an approved DVD list. Middle schools can only watch PG rated videos on the approved list with signed parent permission forms. For a full list of approved videos, parent permission forms, and forms to request adding videos to the approved list check here.
If you would like to look up adopted district materials visit the district’s Instructional Materials Catalog to look up a full listing. Adopted materials are listed by course. If you see something on the adopted materials catalog that you would like to have please visit Ms. Gonzalez in the library.
